CASE Study Challenge #142: Maile Belles

I don't enter challenges very often, not because I don't want to but because I'm not very good at them - give me set guidelines (no matter how vague) and my mind goes blank!

However, this month's muse over at the fabulous CASE Study Challenge Blog is none other than Maile Belles (inspiration card below) and who doesn't love Maile right?!

I took the very easy route and pretty much copied Maile's incredible card (when something's this perfect, why mess with it? lol)....

A Lovely Weekend

Dean suggested I forget about my 'stamping thingy' (his words, as supportive as he is, Dean doesn't take my little business very seriously lol) this weekend so on Saturday we all went to Pizza Express for lunch before watching Epic at the Cinema, followed by bowling and dinner at Prezzo's.  Today we drove into London and became tourists for the day - we had Dim Sum in China Town, visited all the main attractions, did a spot of window shopping in Bond Street and treated the children in Hamleys Toy Shop before returning to China Town for dinner.

It really is the simple things in life that bring the most joy (like ice-cream lol).  I'm not going to lie though, I'm itching to get back to my 'stamping thingy' haha! (which I'm taking very seriously).  I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend too :) x

Sorry I've been AWOL, it's a bit hectic around here, I must be running on adrenaline because I haven't had more than a couple of hours sleep a night in over a week.  The house is an absolute tip and if the truth be told, I'm looking a bit of a mess myself lol.  I think it's time to consider bringing in a part time assistant!

May Release Teaser Time Day 4

I love pattern paper but I'm just not very good at using it!  Instead, I often stamp my own pattern backgrounds which is why there is another Background Builder stamp set on the horizon.

With busy backgrounds, I find it's best to keep everything else very simple....
